zerow launches 24G two-wheeler BSD+LCA radar module with custom-module development

Side and rear blind spots are a leading cause of lane-change and rear-end crashes on e-bikes and motorcycles. zerow's 24G two-wheeler blind-spot radar module is built on 24.00–24.25GHz mmWave radar, combining BSD blind-spot detection and LCA lane-change assist in one unit.

It detects up to 18–22m: a 0–8m BSD zone (alarm triggers at ≥2.5km/h closing speed) and an 8–22m LCA zone (≥10km/h). When a target approaches from the left, right or directly behind, the corresponding LED lights steadily and turns off 1s after the target leaves.

Hardware provides dual left/right 3.3V and 10–12V level outputs, with optional BLE. The 8-pin interface (PA1–PA8) covers power, ground, left/right IO and UART TX/RX for easy integration with the vehicle controller. Operating temperature is -20~+60°C.

Crucially, zerow offers this module as an open platform for custom radar-module development: customers can specify antenna beam (70° horizontal / 28° vertical), form factor, pin interface, output mode and alarm logic per their vehicle and duty cycle, and zerow delivers from design to firmware.

For OEM, aftermarket kits or industry projects, zerow provides radar solutions from module to system level. Contact us for a module tailored to your vehicle.
