zerow ZEROW has officially launched the K60, a 77GHz mmWave blind-spot monitoring and collision-avoidance radar. Built on the company's mass-produced, proven hardware platform (Shengde Micro Cheetah4401 2T4R + Ingenic X2100, aluminium die-cast IP67 housing), the K60 is a standalone model positioned for near-to-mid range, wide-angle, high-precision blind-spot protection. It covers 0.2–60m with ≤±0.2m ranging accuracy and a ±60° azimuth (120°)/±20° elevation FOV, delivering stable detection from the 0.2m near-blind zone out to 60m, unaffected by light, rain, fog or dust.
Excavators, loaders, forklifts and AGVs face large front/side/rear blind spots and dense human-machine interaction during slow operations—making them collision hotspots. K60's 3-zone graded warning (Zone 1 near / Zone 2 mid / Zone 3 far, alarm levels 1/2/3) can be configured independently to the vehicle geometry, and its 3 high-level alarm outputs (IO1/2/3 per zone, active-high, output = VIN 9–16V) directly drive warning lights, buzzers or horns—giving operators early warning during swing, docking and meeting maneuvers.
The K60 provides CAN 2.0B (500K/250K selectable) + UART/USB, with radar ID 0–7 for multi-device networking on the same bus; it supports "any object / moving-only" warning modes and a 0–30s adjustable TTC risk gate for driving and parking scenarios alike; IP67, −40~+85°C and 9–16V wide-voltage supply meet the harsh demands of construction and plant environments. The radar is ready for both OEM and retrofit deployment with truck makers and modifiers, delivering a practical active-safety solution for low-speed, high human-machine-mix operations.
